• ATTENTION ABOUT THE COLOR OF THE PROPOLIS Brazil green propolis is ONLY green at the time of collection, as the leaves are green before falling from the tree. Once harvested it dries to be able to preserve it and its color turns brown. The same thing happens to the leaves after falling. The propolis you will receive is like the one in the second picture. It has a characteristic aroma as well as the flat shape with round marks is unique to bees that produce green propolis.

Green propolis from Brazil Bio. Made by Africanized bees in the State of Minas Gerais of Brazil. There grows an endemic plant, Baccharis Dracunculifolia (brachiaria), with which the bees produce a propolis rich in Artepillin C, active ingredient with multiple therapeutic properties, in addition to being present there all the active pricipalities that they need in the propolis. Propolis or propolis is a waxy resin, very complex in its composition, of varying consistency, from rubbery to dry. It is made by bees from the resins of different vegetables and use it to protect the inside of the hive. With this pure propolis you can prepare homemade tincture with the concentration you want. You can also make extracts to make creams and other cosmetics. You can even chop it and suck it or chew it. Being a 100% natural product, from different hives, there can be significant variations in colour and texture between bags without this implying quality change. Bees collect the products they need for protection around the hive.
