Product description

Aceite de Las Valdesas creates Arbequina Olive Oil at our farm Las Valdesas, located in the geographical centre of Andalusia, in the countryside south of Cordoba, in the town of Puente Genil. The grove is part of an Integrated Production Group, which regulates agriculture by limiting the use of fertilisers and pesticides, allowing us to develop a healthier and more natural oil while also keeping our practice environmentally friendly. To obtain a high quality, fruity olive oil, we pick the olives for olive oil before they mature. Since each variety has a different optimal time of maturation, each type is harvested at its premium. Harvesting is done solely from olives still in the trees, and the olives are milled less than a day after collection to ensure freshness. The oil is stored, unfiltered, in our silos, in an inert atmosphere of nitrogen. This helps to avoid loss of flavour or nutrients and gives us an extra virgin olive oil of the highest quality. We recommend pairing this olive oil with fresh fruit such as kiwis, apples and raisins. It also works beautifully with fish and seafood, for example, fresh anchovies in vinegar, marinated salmon and more. Over the years, we have won many awards for our commitment and dedication at Las Valdesas.
