The hulls are separated from the groat using a roller press, then triple-screened and air-cleaned to ensure a smooth, consistent quality ideal for soft furnishings and craft projects. Used in pillows, meditation cushions, yoga bolsters, draught excluders, and upholstery, buckwheat hulls provide a firm yet breathable filling that adapts naturally to the body. Theyre a durable, eco-friendly alternative to cotton or synthetic materials and do not trap or reflect heat, making them comfortable year-round. Tested to meet British Standard 5852: Part 2: 1982-3, they are suitable for use in upholstery and soft furnishings. Do not heat in the microwave.
