  • ORIGIN: The name, "Sencha," is commonly used to describe Japanese green teas. However, this is a Chinese variety of Sencha - a type of green tea that comes from tea plants grown in direct sunlight. The leaves, after being harvested, are steamed to retain maximum freshness.
  • ABOUT: Our Sencha Earl Grey Blue tea offers a mild, delicate, and slightly grassy flavour. It is known for its refreshing and vegetal taste with subtle hints of sweetness. This unique variety of green Sencha has natural bergamot flavouring and blue Cornflowers added.
  • BENEFITS: Green teas, including China Sencha, contain high levels of antioxidants, particularly catechins. The caffeine levels are generally lower than those of black teas therefore its a perfect drink for the evening.
  • USES: This unique tea combines the flavour and benefits of green tea with the distinct aroma and taste of Earl Grey. Best enjoyed plain, but adding a splash of milk is an option too! You may also enjoy it iced during hot weather.
  • BREWING: Allow 1- 1 teaspoon per cup. Boil the water and wait for up to 5 minutes before pouring it onto the leaves. Steep for 3 minutes. The brewing time and water temperature can be adjusted based on personal preferences.
