Organic & Vegan Friendly Ginger Beer Starter Culture, Ginger Bug Style

Ingredients

Ginger Bug culture, organic ginger powder, organic cane sugar

Directions

Mix 1 tbsp of starter culture with 1 cup of water, 1 tbsp of organic cane sugar, and a small piece of fresh ginger. Let it ferment at room temperature for 7 days. Once fermented, strain the mixture and use it to make ginger beer by mixing 1 part starter with 4 parts water and 1/2 cup of organic cane sugar. Let it ferment for another 24 hours, then bottle and refrigerate to carbonate.
