Product description

Purple dye for wood. This extremely strong dye is delivered in powder form so it can be mixed with water until the desired intensity is achieved. This is can be a big time saver reaching the desired colour in one coat. One 25 g pack, supplied, makes around 5 litres. The colours can be mixed for deep or light shades. Simply mix the dye with water. To apply the dye make a wad of cloth by folding a piece of cloth several times. Wear rubber gloves. Then simply dip the wad into the dye and rub over the wood until a perfect even finish is obtained. Using this technique it is simple to get finish even if you have never done it before. Some products require multiple coats which is very time consuming and tricky, with this product the right intensity can be mixed and achieved with one coat. Varnishing can be done with rattle can sprays, spray guns and oil based products. An instruction sheet is included. ncluded.

Directions

1. Simply mix the dye with water, you may have to wait a few minutes extra for it to fully dissolve. To apply the dye make a wad of cloth by folding a piece several times. Wear rubber gloves. Then simply dip the wad into the dye and work into the surface finishing in the direction of the grain. Using this technique it is simple to get a great even finish. This way only one coat is needed and it is fairly easy to get to the right colour first time with a little practice. 2. Always do a practice piece and it is helpful to look at instruction videos on You Tube. 3. Varnishing can be done with rattle can sprays, spray guns and oil based products.
