Improscar Patch is a silicone-based patch for treatment of scars which gives less visible scars after surgery, burns or other damages to the skin. The patch is super thin, transparent, and elastic and helps maintaining an optimal moisture and oxygen balance for scar maturation. Improscar Patch is produced using a skin friendly silicone adhesive with a continuous wear time of 7 days for each patch. The product is water resistant and can be worn in the shower.

For best results:
- Before applying the patch: clean the scar and surrounding skin using soap, water and the provided alcohol-based Improscar Wipe.
- Make sure not to touch the adhesive side of the patch.
- Should a corner of the patch start to lose its adhesiveness, use a piece of tape to hold it down or cut it off to increase wear time.
- Wear time is individual and depending on skin type (normal / dry / oily etc.).
- Treat the scar for a minimum of 3 months, but treatment for up to a year is recommended.

NOTE! THIS PRODUCT IS NOT SUITABLE IN THE FOLLOWING CASES:
If you have a very active lifestyle including activities that makes you sweat a lot. This can lead to heat rash on the skin where Improscar Patch is situated due to sweat and heat buildup from the workout.
If you use a high compression garment and/or pressure foam on top of the scar. This can lead to shearing which can result in blisters.

In the above cases we recommend to use one of our silicone based sticks instead (Improscar Stick or Improscar Stick 50).
