Caraway & fennel are the two spices that have been traditionally used as ingredients for the original South Tyrolean Schttelbrot. These two spices not only contribute to its unique taste, they are also easily digestible. As a rule, our South Tyrolean Mini-Schttelbrot is eaten between meals (during a so-called Jause' or Brotzeit') or rather during a light afternoon meal (the South Tyrolean Marende'). It makes of course a perfect accompaniment to wine and beer and is therefore ideal for all consumers who want to indulge in 100% natural crunching fun.
