Product Description

Schwartz Beef Casserole Mix is a tasty recipe mix with paprika and fragrant parsley for a hearty beef casserole full of flavour. Ready in 2 hours, this recipe is ideal for slow cookers and makes for a hearty meal with minimal effort. The beef casserole mix is full of flavour and is a pantry essential for cooking up wholesome meals at any time of day. This dish is delicious with creamy mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. For an even richer sauce, try adding a dash of red wine to the casserole before cooking. Schwartz Beef Casserole Mix is suitable for vegans and is free from hydrogenated fat, artificial colours, added preservatives and MSG.
Preparation and Usage:
Just Add 2 tbs oil, 450g lean beef, diced, 1 large onion, diced, 2 carrots, peeled and sliced and 400ml cold water.
1) Pre-heat oven to 180C, 350F, Gas Mark 4.
2) Heat oil, brown beef, onion, and carrots for 5 mins, until golden. Drain excess liquid and transfer to a casserole dish.
3) Mix seasoning with water and stir in. Cover and cook in oven for 2 hours, until the meat is tender.

Starch, WHEAT Flour (with Calcium, Iron, Niacin (Vitamin B3), Thiamin (Vitamin B1)), Maltodextrin, Salt, Natural Flavourings, Spices (Paprika (5%), Garlic Powder, Black Pepper), Sugar, Flavourings, Parsley, Anti-Caking Agent (Silicon Dioxide)

Directions

1. Open the sachet. 2. Combine the contents with 500ml of water in a slow cooker. 3. Cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours. 4. Serve hot.
