With the natural sourdough from Seitenbacher any self-baked sourdough bread succeeds. Sourdough gives your homemade bread a unique aroma and keeps it fresh for longer. For over 20 years, Seitenbacher has been the specialist in natural sourdough for use in the home. You should store it in a cool place but let it get warm just before baking. The sourdough is ready to use and therefore also perfect for the oven. The lactic acid bacteria contained in the sourdough support yeast cultures. These yeast cultures produce carbon dioxide and allow the dough to swell. Especially with whole grain flours and dark breads, the sourdough is indispensable, otherwise these breads will not rise. The sourdough also brings moisture to the bread and ensures a longer shelf life due to the acidity. Vegan
