Pull out about 18 inches of floss from the dispenser. Wrap most of the floss around your middle finger, leaving an inch or two of floss to work with. Gently insert the floss between two teeth, curving it against the tooth surface. Gently move the floss up and down against the side of each tooth, avoiding snapping or forcing the floss to prevent injury. Use a new section of floss for each tooth to avoid reinserting bacteria into your mouth.
